Diamond Shaker is a pendant designed for the 3-part necklace, Drum Kit. Diamond Shaker attaches to Drum Necklace with 18 karat gold bayonet clasps that lock into the 18 karat gold barrels inside the pendant. The clasps lock and unlock the pendant on each side, allowing the user to remove Diamond Shaker and replace it with another pendant from Drum Kit. The pendant is 18 karat gold throughout, including the barrels inside both locking mechanisms. The 18 karat yellow gold basket was carved by hand, with 32 natural mined diamonds, bezel-set in 18 karat white gold, arranged in four rows of eight diamonds around the basket. Pendant only. Diamond Shaker was inspired by the colourful, hand-woven basket-like Caxixi Shaker found across Africa, Brazil and Cuba. The Caxixi Shaker is often used by singers alongside drummers, and is believed to bring good fortune and ward off evil spirits.
