Orders are normally shipped 1-3 days of receiving the order. Standard shipping may take between 2 to 7 business days.
RUSH local delivery within 200km radius of London, Ontario can be arranged for same day or 1-3 day delivery. Contact us to arrange RUSH local delivery.
Note: Due to Covid19, the shipping time frame with standard couriers may be delayed. It has been observed that cross-border shipments between Canada and US have been delayed a minimum of one week, adding 7-10 days to a 3-4 day ETA ( total 10-14 day). If your order is time sensitive, please contact us to arrange details.

Special order requests may take longer to process. Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for additional services that are added to the purchase, such as, engraved items and ring sizing. Orders must pass verification and be shipped to a single address. The Gem Shop is not responsible for delivery delays due to unforeseen circumstances outside our reasonable control such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, etc.
Orders will be shipped by UPS, Canada Post, Fedex or other appropriate parcel service, and will require signature. The Gem Shop is not responsible for ensuring the correct person signs for the parcel. The signature provided by any person at the shipping address is the full responsibility of the payer (the customer who paid for the merchandise).
The Gem Shop provides free shipping for Canadian and US addresses for minimum $50 order. Orders under $50 are charged $10 flat rate. There may be an additional charge for a RUSH shipment. Deliveries in the London, Ontario region may be locally delivered. All jewellery shipments will be shipped fully insured by the shipper or a third party insurance agency.
The payer may provide his or her own shipping account. If the payer provides their own shipping account, shipping, delivery and insurance are the sole responsibility of the payer. To provide a shipping account, email admin@thegemshop.ca with your order number, phone number and shipping information. The email address and other contact information must match the contact information provided in the billing address of the order.
Customs and duties are the responsibility of the payer. There are no customs or duties for shipments within Canada. Jewellery and gem shipments between the United States and Canada are generally duty free. The payer will be notified if duties apply to the shipment but were not assessed and processed online when the item was purchased. Customs, duties and VAT for shipments to Europe, or other worldwide locations outside Canada or the United States, will be the responsibility of the payer and will be resolved between the payer and the shipping company at the time of delivery.
Please allow up to fourteen business days for shipments to remote locations. No shipments to P.O. Boxes.
